We are currently seeking an experienced, highly organised, and creative Private Chef for a part-time, live-out position based in Miami. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who thrives in a private household environment, enjoys both family-style cooking and elegant entertaining, and is looking for a stable, ongoing role with a warm, respectful family.

Role Overview – What You’ll Be Working On

In this part-time role (approximately 20 hours per week), you will be responsible for planning and preparing high-quality, healthy, and varied meals for the family a few times per week, portioning and boxing dishes for the refrigerator to cover several days. You will also support and occasionally lead culinary execution for small events and private parties held at the residence.

The position is live-out, and you must already reside in the Miami area with the ability to travel easily to the family’s home. An ASAP start is preferred.

Key Aspects of the Role

You will design seasonal menus tailored to the family’s tastes and dietary preferences, source and shop for premium ingredients locally, and ensure meals are beautifully prepared, labelled, and stored for ease of use. On event days, you will take ownership of the culinary side of entertaining – from canapés and sharing-style menus to more refined plated courses – coordinating timings and presentation to a high standard.

Discretion, reliability, and the ability to work autonomously are essential. You should be comfortable working within a private home, adapting to the family’s rhythm, and maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety at all times.

You are solutions-focused, calm under pressure, and able to take initiative without constant direction.

You should be based in Miami, have a flexible mindset to accommodate the family’s schedule within the agreed part-time hours, and be confident in planning, prep, and execution for both everyday meals and special occasions.
