Role Overview: Freelance Head Chef – 55m M/Y (Med)
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Head Chef for a busy 55m motor yacht, joining in the Mediterranean on 7th August for a period of several weeks, likely through to the end of September. This is a demanding, guest-focused role on a very active charter vessel, requiring a calm and highly organised chef who thrives under pressure and can deliver exceptional, beautifully presented cuisine across varied charter itineraries.

What You’ll Be Working On
You will take full ownership of the galley, from menu design and provisioning through to execution and hygiene management. You will work closely with the Captain, Chief Stew, and the rest of the crew to deliver a high-end, bespoke culinary experience for guests while maintaining consistent quality for crew meals. The ideal candidate will be confident in managing changing guest preferences, special diets, and last-minute requests typical of a busy Med charter season.

Who You Are
You are a proven yacht Head Chef with recent experience on 50m+ vessels during intensive charter seasons. You are confident producing refined, contemporary, internationally inspired menus, and you understand the logistics of provisioning and storage in the Med. You are solutions‑driven, adaptable, and able to keep a positive, professional attitude even when the schedule changes or guest numbers fluctuate. You lead by example in the galley, maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety at all times.
