Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Female Sole Chef for a 50m Private M/Y. Join a lovely British family and an amazing crew for a rotational 2/2 position. This is an opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while cruising Stateside, with future plans to sail into the Pacific and New Zealand by 2026. Enjoy creating a relaxed family-style dining experience with an emphasis on fresh fish, Mediterranean cuisine, and healthy dishes with the occasional indulgence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Create and prepare daily family-style lunches and dinners, focusing on fresh, healthy, and Mediterranean dishes.
2. Manage all aspects of the galley, including provisioning, inventory, and budgeting for ingredients.
3. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
4. Collaborate with the family to accommodate dietary preferences and special requests.
5. Prepare occasional special treats and gourmet meals for family celebrations or guests.
6. Adapt menus and cooking styles based on changing locations and available local ingredients.

Skills & Experience

1. Must hold a valid B1B2 visa.
2. Culinary trained with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a sole chef on yachts.
3. Demonstrated expertise in preparing Mediterranean and healthy cuisine.
4. Strong ability to plan and execute menus that cater to a variety of dietary preferences.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with a British family and crew.
6. Flexibility to adapt to a rotational 2/2 schedule and foreign cruising plans.
