Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and culinary-trained Female Head Chef for a Rotational position aboard an 80m Private M/Y. This role offers the opportunity to work with an amazing crew and owners, alongside an exceptional Head Chef to rotate with, making it a dream job for the right candidate. The ideal start date is at the end of April.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan, develop, and execute a variety of menus suitable for the yacht's itinerary, ensuring high standards of culinary excellence. 2. Manage all aspects of the galley operations, including provisioning, budgeting, and inventory control. 3. Supervise and lead kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to maintain a cohesive and efficient culinary team. 4. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the galley at all times. 5. Collaborate closely with the crew to accommodate any special dietary needs and preferences of the owners and guests. 6. Foster a pleasant and cooperative dynamic within the kitchen and among crew members, contributing to a positive onboard atmosphere.

Skills & Experience

1. Culinary degree or professional culinary certification. 2. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Head Chef on a similar-sized yacht. 3. Proven ability to create diverse and innovative menus catering to various dietary preferences and restrictions. 4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in maintaining a positive work environment. 5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with crew and owners. 6. Valid STCW, ENG1 medical certificate, and food safety certificates.
