Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and talented Rotational 2/2 Sous/Crew Chef for an 80m Private M/Y starting in mid-May. This unique opportunity is perfect for culinary-trained chefs who are new to the yachting industry or have one season of experience. The role emphasizes health-focused cooking for the crew and supporting the guest head chef during boss trips. When not assisting with guest meals, you will independently manage the galley, preparing nutritious and delicious meals for the crew.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare daily health-focused meals for the crew, ensuring variety and nutritional balance.
2. Support the guest head chef during boss trips by assisting with meal preparation and service.
3. Manage the galley independently in the absence of the guest head chef, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness.
4. Plan and develop creative menus tailored to the dietary needs of the crew.
5. Maintain inventory and ensure adequate stock levels of fresh produce and cooking essentials.
6. Comply with health and safety regulations, ensuring the galley adheres to the highest standards.

Skills & Experience

1. Culinary-trained with certification from a recognized culinary institution.
2. A minimum of zero to one season experience in the yachting industry.
3. Strong foundation in preparing nutritious and health-centric meals.
4. Excellent organizational and time-management skills for galley operations.
5. The capacity to work harmoniously with a guest head chef.
6. Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
