Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sole Chef & Sole Stew couple to join a 30m private motor yacht for a seasonal role starting on April 1st. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a long-term British family client who values professionalism and high standards. The yacht operates privately, providing a relaxed yet professional atmosphere. The ideal candidates should bring a cohesive, hands-on approach and deliver exceptional service and culinary excellence. The role is best suited for a British couple, with the Chef being culinary-trained and the Stew bringing prior sole stew experience. This seasonal role promises a rewarding environment for skilled professionals.

Key Responsibilities

1. The Chef will be responsible for provisioning, menu planning, and preparing a variety of delicious meals for the family and occasional guests.
2. The Chief Stew will oversee all aspects of interior management, including cleaning, laundry, and guest service.
3. Chef to maintain a well-organized and hygienic galley, adhering to food safety and storage standards.
4. Chief Stew to ensure the presentation and upkeep of interior spaces align with luxury standards.
5. Collaborate to create a seamless onboard experience, providing personalized and high-level service.
6. Work closely with the Captain and other crew members to support smooth vessel operations and assist as needed during guest trips.

Skills & Experience

1. Chef must be culinary-trained with expertise in creating diverse, high-quality menus that cater to various dietary preferences.
2. Chief Stew must have prior solo stewardess experience, ideally with 1-2 seasons of yacht experience.
3. Both candidates should possess excellent communication skills and be able to work harmoniously as a team.
4. A strong ability to adapt to the preferences of the family and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
5. Must hold valid STCW, ENG1, and relevant maritime certifications.
6. Ideally British nationals due to client preferences and cultural fit.
