Job Description

We are seeking an exceptionally talented and culinary-trained Sole Chef to join a prestigious 50m Private and Charter M/Y. This is an exclusive opportunity to bring your expertise in fine dining and Asian fusion cuisine to provide world-class culinary experiences for discerning guests. This position offers an excellent salary and a comprehensive leave package of 90 days per year. If the operation runs smoothly, there is a possibility of rotation after one year. A preference will be given to Northen European candidates. The guests onboard are specific about their preferences and have a detailed manual of their favorite foods, which primarily includes Asian fusion and fine dining styles. The successful candidate will undergo a trial period in either Dubai or France, depending on the location of the Owner, lasting between 1 to 3 days.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and execute sophisticated, high-quality menus in line with the guests' preferences, focusing on Asian fusion and fine dining cuisines. 2. Manage provisioning and sourcing of the finest ingredients, ensuring freshness and authenticity in all culinary creations. 3. Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, safety, and sanitation in the galley at all times. 4. Adapt menus and dining experiences to accommodate any specific dietary needs or preferences of the guests. 5. Provide exceptional culinary experiences during both informal and formal events onboard. 6. Collaborate effectively with the yacht crew to ensure seamless coordination of daily activities and meal services.

Skills & Experience

1. Culinary-trained with formal qualifications and extensive experience in fine dining and Asian fusion cuisine. 2. Proven track record as a Sole Chef on a luxury motor yacht or equivalent high-profile hospitality setting. 3. Exceptional knowledge of nutrition, dietary restrictions, and the ability to accommodate specific guest preferences. 4. Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain an impeccably clean and efficient galley. 5. Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor to interact with high-profile guests and crew. 6. Willingness to travel extensively and flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
