Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Male 3rd Chef to join a luxurious 85m Private M/Y. This role is ideal for a culinary professional with a restaurant background who thrives in dynamic environments. The successful candidate will be expected to join mid-January in Florida and will enjoy a generous 90 days of holiday per annum. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef holding or willing to obtain a Ship’s Cook certificate during their time off. A B1B2 visa is a must for this position.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in meal preparation and execution, ensuring culinary excellence.
2. Maintaining a clean and organized galley, adhering to the yacht's high standards of safety and sanitation.
3. Participating in provisioning, inventory management, and ensuring all ingredients are fresh and high-quality.
4. Preparing meals as per the preferences and dietary requirements of guests and crew.
5. Collaborating with the culinary team to create innovative menus that elevate the dining experience onboard.
6. Adapting to the changing needs and schedules of guests, ensuring flexibility in meal service timings.

Skills & Experience

1. Minimum of one year of experience working on yachts.
2. Proven culinary training and a strong background in high-end restaurant environments.
3. Possession of a valid B1B2 visa.
4. Ability and willingness to obtain a Ship's Cook certificate during time off, if not already held.
5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously in a team.
6. Strong organizational skills with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
