We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Chef to join a 100m Private M/Y. This is a rotational position with a 2/2 schedule, to oversee the galley teams across a multi vessel fleet. The right candidate will be a head chef who has been on yachts for a number of years in a senior head chef role, with solid longevity and management experience and ready to step up to the next stage into this position. This is an exciting opportunity for the right head chef.
1. Develop and execute a diverse menu that meets the tastes and dietary requirements of guests, including any special requests or themed events.
2. Lead and manage the culinary team, ensuring high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service.
3. Oversee the procurement of high-quality ingredients, liaising with suppliers to ensure the freshest produce is used while staying within budget.
4. Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization in the galley, ensuring compliance with all safety and hygiene regulations.
5. Collaborate with the fleet galley teams to plan and execute dining events, adapting menus to meet guest expectations.
6. Regularly review and refine procedures and recipes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and culinary excellence onboard.
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef, preferably in a luxury yacht or high-end hospitality environment.
2. Valid STCW certificates and current ENG1 medical certificate.
3. Superb culinary skills with a focus on international cuisines and adaptability to various dietary preferences.
4. Excellent leadership abilities and experience managing a diverse kitchen team.
5. Strong understanding and adherence to health and safety regulations, including HACCP compliance.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences.
