Rotational 2/2 80m+ Private M/Y, commencing in January. Amazing vessel, owners and crew. Well equipped galley. Excellent budget. You must have a strong restaurant background, and a min of 2 years on yachts to date, either as a strong sous or sole chef ready to step up, or as head on a 60m vessel already. Solid longevity and excellent references essential, please do not apply if you do not meet this criteria and spec. Preference for British, Australian and Kiwi candidates. Male or Female.
1. Lead and manage all culinary operations on board, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. 2. Design and execute diverse, innovative menus catering to a wide range of dietary preferences and guest requests. 3. Maintain exceptional hygiene and cleanliness standards in the galley, adhering to all health and safety regulations. 4. Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and cost control of all culinary supplies. 5. Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment. 6. Collaborate closely with the yacht's management and crew to ensure seamless coordination of meal services and guest satisfaction.
1. Culinary-trained professional with a certificate or degree from a recognized culinary school. 2. Minimum experience as a strong Sous Chef or Head Chef on yachts 60m+, or an equivalent role in high-end restaurants. 3. Proven experience working in top-notch restaurants with a focus on delivering exceptional cuisine. 4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, fostering collaboration within a multicultural team. 5. Physically fit and healthy, capable of working in a demanding onboard environment. 6. Age range 26-40, with a readiness to embark on the role beginning January 8th.
